☈ Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Use levers, pedals, and buttons to maneuver booms, hoists, and loads smoothly and accurately.
- Safety Inspections: Conduct daily pre-operational checks on cables, hooks, fluid levels, and safety devices.
- Site Communication: Follow hand signals or radio commands from signal persons and riggers on the ground.
- Lift Planning: Review load charts and calculate weights to ensure lifts remain within safe rated operating limits.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform basic upkeep, cleaning, and minor mechanical adjustments or repairs.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Licensing & Certification: Valid crane operator license or certification
- Physical & Spatial Skills: Strong depth perception, hand-eye coordination, and comfort working at great heights.
- Safety Knowledge: Deep understanding of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Experience: Prior on-site experience or completion of a recognized technical apprenticeship program.
