Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Read Blueprints: Interpret technical drawings and plans to figure out dimensions, shapes, and material needs
• Build and Shape: Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, or plastic panels to construct custom forms or assemble pre-made modular systems.
• Install and Secure: Position forms accurately, level them, and lock them in place using stakes, iron rods, and ties. Treat forms with oil to stop concrete from sticking
• Reinforce: Place steel bars or mesh (rebar) inside the frame to give the concrete added strength.
• Assist and Strip: Support the team during concrete pours, then carefully dismantle (strip) and clean the forms once the concrete dries so they can be reused.

Skills and Requirements

• Math and Measuring: Strong skills to calculate angles, grades, elevations, and material quantities.
• Tool Proficiency: Know how to use hand tools, power saws, lasers, and heavy building equipment.
• Physical Stamina: High fitness level to lift heavy panels, bend, stand for long periods, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Safety Focus: Strict adherence to safety rules, especially when working at heights or around heavy machinery.
